A redesign of the book “Secret life of Plants” by Peter Tompkins. In the design I focused on the duality between science and nature, humans and plants. The typography tries to balance the unpredictability of nature within the structure of a scientific paper. In addition I commissioned four musicians to make a song for their favorite plant. These pieces are included on a 10 inch record accompanying the book. Special thanks to Andrés Þór Þorvarðarsson, Atli Pálsson, K. Óla (e. Katrín Helga Ólafsóttir) and soley (e. Sóley Stefánsdóttir).
